For Portsmouth annual We Shine Portsmouth light festival EMF were proud to be engaged to work with Limbic Cinema to supply a giant 25 meter Water screen at Hilsea Lido.
Hilsea Lido debut as a new festival hub this year, featured an awe-inspiring projection by the amazing Limbic Cinema. Displayed on a giant 25-meter water screen over the moat near the Lido, this stunning installation exploring the surreal world of artificial reefs across the planet is not to be missed. This immersive experience was complemented by a range of light installations and projects co-created with local community groups.
The end of season was sent out with a huge Fireworks show with Fireworks, Lasers, Searchlights, Flames and a huge Water screen. EMF’s large water screen was used to create the Water effect at the spectacular and huge firework displays at Alton Towers Resort over three days for the celebration of the end of Theme Park season. Reported to be the UK’s most spectacular Fireworks show the crowd were treated to a stunning display.

Arsenal fans that queued outside Puma’s flagship store for hours enjoyed their first glimpse of the club’s new kits as Santi Cazorla, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini stepped into the front window of the shop wearing the home, away and cup strips.
The Gunners timed their kit launch to perfection. On the same day the club announced the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona, their kit deal with Puma – worth a reported £30million-a-year – kicked into gear.
Cazorla, Arteta and Flamini were all present at a glitzy unveiling at the Puma store in Carnaby Street, before Arsenal spectacularly unveiled the kits to the public via a 20m high water projection visible from the North Bank of the River Thames, right in front of the London Eye.

For Audi’s bash in Valencia, Spain a charted plane flew all the crew out for the exclusive party which ended with a stunning Waterscreen display.
Our 20M X 10M Water Screen projection system was used in conjunction with our Christie projectors and EMF temporary power services to showcase the new Audi car. We have several size Waterscreens available. All systems have been designed for high quality projection with ease of installation and can be supplied for sea water or fresh water use- as floor mounted, floating units or suspended from barges.
Waterscreens are a completely different way of using an expanse of water to create a stunning effect for Product Launches, Theme Parks, Promotions, event and Innovate advertising.
The Water screens are created from Water being pumped under high pressure to create a semi-circular screen which is semi- transparent and ideal for projection. Water screens are ideally sited in lakes, rivers the sea or in a bespoke basin supplied as required.

Monday nights show started with an image of a globe coming out of the water and also featured scenes of beach volleyball, football, an art gallery, Brazilian cultural festivities and the Christ the Redeemer statue amongst other activities tourists can experience when visiting Brazil. Water screens for “MITIE’S GOT TALENT”, EMF Technology supplied a 12m high x 22m wide water screen complete with two doubled 20k Christie Roadster projectors for perfect projections.

The award winning attraction Drayton Manor Park had its 60th Anniversary celebrations with a spectacular firework and laser display.
The lake played host to a Waterscreen projection screen and the skies were filled with fireworks, aerial writing lasers, flame and fire effects and search lights revealing the park’s biggest, most exciting and successful rides.
