Over 30,000 spectators – a record number – savoured a sparkling night of fun and fireworks yesterday Sunday 3 November.This years spectacular fireworks display – at the free event brought to you by Newham Mayor Sir Robin Wales – was cleverly choreographed to a stunning soundtrack featuring hits from Mumford & Sons, One Direction, Rihanna, Florence & the Machine, Jessie J, Katy Perry, Calvin Harris.And a mouthwatering array of food and non-alcoholic hot drinks was available to buy on site – including Thai noodles and curries, French crepes, jerk chicken and gourmet Lebanese cuisine.Sir Robin said: “Its always terrific to see different generations of families enjoying themselves at our free events. This is a fantastic annual show and its a great credit to all those who worked hard behind the scenes to make it happen. We had a terrific turn-out and it was wonderful to see a record number at this years event, enjoying themselves to the full.”

Our high powered Searchlights drew the public in to this years Halloween themed event which went down a storm with the massive Flame systems topping the Scull Burning Pyrotechnics and scary projections on the trees to accompany the magnificent Firework Display.

For this years Metro Monster Mash Halloween Firework Display 2 massive five fingered flame systems, Firestorm Flames and High Powered Searchlights lit the way to Belfasts famous Titanic Slipways to compliment the magnificent Firework Display.

Titanic Quarter in Belfast lit up last night with a spectacular display of fireworks as Halloween festivities kicked off.
The former slipways where the world’s most famous ship slid into the water over a century ago played host to a new generation of Ulster creativity with some fangtastic costume efforts.
Far from settling for the traditional witch or wizard costumes, some revellers at the Metro Monster Mash party dressed elaborately as characters like Edward Scissorhands, a fanged cheetah and one man even recreated the ghoulish, cult horror movie classic, Hellraiser.
Local singer Conor Grimes, from BBC’s The Voice, swapped busking on city streets for headlining the event. He was supported by local band Freefall.
Street theatre, face painting and fire shows entertained both young and old, and there were prizes awarded for the night’s best costumes.
In the run up to Halloween, there will be ghost walks from City Hall each night and special tours of Crumlin Road Gaol.
In the north west, the Londonderry Halloween Carnival will run until November 3. The Halloween parade will take place on Thursday

For Battersea Park Fireworks night pre-show EMF ran searchlights, flame effects and a laser show to keep the crowd entertained before the famous fireworks were let off.
Power at the Power Station EMF supplied City Colours and High Powered Projection onto the internal walls of Battersea Power Station. Together with six of their 8Kw Searchlights they lit up the night sky for this private wedding party event.

Shard building launch, lasers and search lights
BRITAIN’S tallest building was officially unveiled yesterday — with a dazzling laser display that lit up the London skyline.
Beams of light shot out of The Shard on the banks of the River Thames to mark the completion of the skyscraper’s exterior.
The view from inside is equally awesome. I was
one of the first journalists welcomed in for a sneak peek a few hours before last night’s breath-taking display, which was rehearsed days earlier.
My ears popped as I whizzed up the middle of the 1,016ft glass structure at a rate of six floors a second.
Although work on the inside is expected to continue into 2013, I was taken 800ft up to the viewing gallery.
It doesn’t open to the public until February but tickets go on sale today at a pricey £24.95 each for adults.

For that, you do get extraordinary 40-mile views in each direction from the site in Southwark.
