For the launch of the new Film 2012 a Large Waterscreen and Searchlights were positioned in the bay at Cannes to run the film trailer show to create a huge projection in the water.

Waterscreen Projection onto The Thames for The Watchmen Premiere

A 70-foot high image of the comic book character Dr Manhattan appeared out of the Thames last night using the world’s biggest water screen projector.

Dr Manhattan, the blue skinned, super-powered being beloved of all Watchmen fans towered above the crowds who’d gathered on the river bank in central London to see the event.

The water screen was moored in the middle of the Thames between the London Eye and The Shell Building to create an vertical screen of water that extended to 72 feet in height and 100 feet across.

Specially created Watchmen footage was projected onto the screen to show Dr Manhattan’s gigantic translucent and shimmering form.

The one-off spectacle was created to promote the big screen adaptation of the 1986 comic book series Watchmen.

The stars and maybe some dragons were out for the film premiere of the dragon film Eragon. And above it all the EMF Technology team, working with West Events, were there to provide a monument of flame effects that even a dragon would be proud of. Supplying 10 x 5 meter high DMX Firestorm Stage Flame System across the now familiar balconies to dazzle the stars and screaming fans below. EMF also went on to help get the after show party off to a flaming start supplying 5 x 5 meter high Firestorm Stage Flame Systems and 10 x 7ft high Flambe’s at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Truly spectacular.

The EMF team rolled out the big guns for the 6 week Walsall Festival of Light making sure this proved to be the best since the event began. The Team supplied their air injection 25 meter high x 35 meter wide floating waterscreens with DMX inverter start for the Walsall team to project custom artwork onto the massive water screen and using 2 x 15k lumens doubled video projectors to stun the crowds.

The Ghouls were out in force as were the EMF TECHNOLOGY team to build and install the shock worthy flame effects for this year’s 6-week Fright Nights Halloween celebrations at Thorpe Park.

8 x 5 metre high Firestorm Stage Flame Systems were custom built to shock public at the entrance of the park and of the Asylum. Gothic Flambe’s were erected at the site of the 7 deadly sins and the rightly named Hell Gate. All systems were fitted with EMF’s DMX Flame failure system to combat strict health and safety laws. SPOOKY!!

EMF TECHNOLOGY visited sunny old Blackpool again for the Fire and Water tableau.

Custom building brand new Flambe’s heads for the huge roman gladiator, each head was fitted with EMF’s flame failure system so the flames will burn all winter. Also 3 intricate water fountains and 1x Rain Curtain were installed to finish off the tableau.

On the hottest day of the year since about 1425 EMF were on site again for the big film premiere of the season supplying 8x 4mh Destroyer stage flames and DMX Flambe’s for the Billingsgate after party.
