Rochester Castle Projections Siege Re-enactment

Rochester Castle celebrated the one of England’s most historic moments – the siege of Rochester Castle in Kent with projection Mapping of the castle tower collapsing as it had done in 1215.

Rebels occupied the site in a bid to overthrow King John but King John was not about to give up that easily and defeated the rebels. The re-enactment of the siege 800 years later was projected across the castle with the famous battle scene played out below.

In celebration of Gloucester’s part of playing host to the Rugby World Cup activation Japan and USA, were projected onto the tower of Gloucester Cathedral and lights illuminated the sky in celebration of the final pool stage match at Kingsholm stadium whilst inside the Cathedral the Sine Nomine Youth Choir sang Rugby World Cup 2015 theme “World in Union” as the names of the visiting nations.

Hilton’s DoubleTree Launch at Columbia Wharf was celebrated with massive 5 fingered jet Flame Systems, projections, lighting and plenty of champagne!

Two 5 fingered flame systems were located on the roof of the venue and several moving projections scanned across the front of the building. Several of our 7ft Flambeaux  units were located around the party area.

#MeanToBe was a fantastic opportunity for students to share their memories and experiences of Nottingham University via Twitter and instagram and as a big boost to the kick off the campaign a huge image of the slogan was projected across the façade of the University framed by yellow beams from our high powered searchlights.

In daylight Keble college chapel is an iconic piece of Oxfords architecture.

However when the night fell we transformed it into a gothic masterpiece.

Annual ball for the Keble College students, this year there was a gothic theme exploring the shadowy depths of the gothic realm.

To fully incorporate the audience a 3D video projection map was projected onto the iconic Keble College Chapel for all the guests to see and enjoy throughout the night.

At 10 o’clock the projection was launched with all the guests crowding to get a view of the stunning imagery and it continued through the night with guests sitting down to watch the projection until early hours of the morning.

Liver Building Projection for #GoodLuckAP campaign

A massive projection for the #GoodLuckAP campaign was launched last night in honour of AP McCoy’s last race at Aintree.

Liverpool’s famous Liver building was illuminated with Searchlights and a large outdoor projected image of one of McCoy’s finest moments – winning the world famous Grand National on Don’t Push It in 2010 – together with the words “The Greatest Jockey. The Greatest Race.”

Ahead of AP McCoy’s retirement from the sport Aintree racecourse though it was appropriate to celebrate this great man as he becomes the jockey to have had the most rides in the history of the Grand National. With his connections with the world famous Grand National held in Liverpool where better than to project onto the Liver Building to celebrate a great city and a great sporting champion.
